4 day old RS

Picked up the new wagon 4 days ago with 21km on the odo. Race blue, manual Tdi, factory - leather, tint, mdi. I thought long and hard about the black neptune wheels which were no cost option. Ended up staying stock silver. The red stitching wasn no cost option too but not available with factory leather. Might put it on the mfsw though. I am thinking smooth leather with red stitching for the mfsw.

Ordered last october, built jan 2013, complianced in feb 2013. I couldn't wait the 18+ months for the new RS. I am more than happy with what i now have. Planned mods start with MFSW. Then hacking rns510 for tv and changing maxidot to display current engaged gear.

How many other 2013 octy's are out there?

Factory tint isnt that dark, but in different light it looks pretty good.



Still has the RS embedded in the leather



Am hoping that consumption improves. It is a diesel after all.......

Looks like they're mail attachments; can you move them to a file hosting site? Google+ might work if the privacy setting are ok.

I use Facebook and just extract the raw image URL... The album that they are in is actually 100% private!!

What is your consumption atm? My fuel light just came on after 875km

I dont use facebook much, I log in about once every 3 months? I have even managed to have a facebook account without an associated email address.

That is a record compliance and shipping.....have you checked the plates? I'd be surprised its not built 2012.

Over 75,000km in my vRS Diesel manual (hatch) I am averaging 6.4l/100km. Country driving easily takes it down into the mid-high 5l/100km range and I have never been higher than 7l/100 km over a whole tank.

It would be the quickest 2013 delivery ever if it is a 2013 factory build.

VIN search comes up 2013 and skoda were doing their last right hand drive build run in Jan. how else do you tell when it was actually built?

Compliance plate says feb/2013.

I had to order the car pre nov '12 to make the cut off for the jan build run.

I have... But I DID attend a track day on that tank. And pre-drove the May 19th drive day run...

Managed to use half the fuel Martin did at the end of the day, doing a comparable number of laps! (1/8th tank used compared to 1/4)

I agree. My Superb is an MY 13 and took 4 months to arrive. From build to delivery was one day short of 4 months.

The all black leather looks good. Think I d prefer the faux alloy trim panels over the piano black though. Its just too black.

Check the build dates on the plate itself, it will be a MY13 as anything in the latter half is, but it would be a record to get here and be complianced in a couple of weeks. From memory one build plate is in near the hinge on the passenger front door and there is usually a second along with the compliance plate on the right hand side where the spare tyre is (under the carpet). My guess is that they ended up getting an earlier built one for you to speed things up.

The plate under the boot floor beside the compliance plate does not have a build date on it. The plate in the front passenger door frame which is a skoda plate says Built Jan 2013.

I knew it got here quickly as I was expecting end of April. But given I wanted a manual tdi with factory leather and tint, it is not like they would have had one lying around.
