I bought my new grille!!!

OK, so I have once again tried my luck with superskoda and purchased the Hex style front grille insert that I have been wanting!

I logged in under a new user name etc and purchased it.

I will just remember not to ask any questions re the progress of my order this time, and just wait...patiently.....

It is the new grille in the hex design to match the lower part of the front bar. The chrome surround remains the same...just the inside part changes.
It is the new version with the opening for the bonnet release too...

Cant wait!!

I agree it would create more frontal synergy - should look nice
The only think that stopped me was the photos looked like the honeycomb was receased back from the chrome
I will be very interested to see yours once it arrives

I order one a month or so ago. Arrived pretty quick. 2nd order from these guys and haven't had too many problems. Only complaint is that they could pack things a little better. The quality of the grille isn't 100% but OK for the price.

Mine arrived in a couple of weeks, installation was easy just take your time! I had no problem with these guys.

I gotta say, it was not as easy as I thought it would be to install it!!! It took a fair bit of fiddling to get it in!
And...I ruined the new badge trying to get it correctly lined up, so I have had to ditch it and wait for a new one to arrive...so it is running naked for a while now.....

I like it! You stuck with the chrome suround, not sure what I will do...

Yep, it is just the insert that comes from superskoda, and replacing the insert is the hard part!
If it was just replacing the whole grille, it would only take 5 mins, but separating and changing the insert is fiddly!

I like the chrome personally on mine, but I guess it could be blacked out, or carbon fibre wrapped on yours??
Just do the wrapping while the parts are separated, then insert the new honeycomb mesh after....
