You know vRS is the correct designation right? They dropped the v in the "Asian" market supposedly due to the difficulty Asians are supposed to have pronouncing it.

Everywhere else in the world they are still vRS as per the green and red v logo on your grille
Do you have that logo? Or something else ?

LOL, are you serious? RS is only called vRS in the UK, where Ford UK complained at the use of RS as I've read on Briskoda many times. Excluding NZ, everywhere else in the world including the Czech Republic (czech their website hehe) it's called RS.

          quoted for truth.

No one complains to Renault about their RS models.

How much did it go for?

I have a very similar plate, VRS20 since the long term goal is to improve on the 147kW.

I saw a Victorian vRS with the euro plates, it said: V-RS-125.
I wanna get the same plates, but cause I'm in NSW, they'd be N-RS-125.

He drove off before I got a chance to ask him about them!!

Yep RS is the proper name, we just get the UK spec cars hence the crappy v on ours. It was to do with Ford UK getting funny but they use ST now anyway.

Hey I've only had the car a few months and so little seems to be known here, you hear all sorts of stuff. Of course every car website says their version of the facts is solid gold, but as a car nut, I make a much better nurse.

I bow to the more informed others like yourself, but still, the big V is still on the logo...
Or is it meant to be something else?

I get more confused every day.

But it's still am awesome beast :sly:

Well that's what the interweb claims, however there are plenty of other makes using the RS badge, Audi Q & TT RS, Porsche GT3 RS, Renault Clio & Megane RS, just to name a few.

I have embraced the "V", I think of it like the Skoda version of the BMW M badge. Some of the older models just had the "V".

Or maybe the UK sales department was confused by the Czech accent.

Can't agree more... Besides, vRS sounds even better.

                          Subaru Imprezza RS? Eurgh!!
