love the silvia, but completely impractical for passengers and I love suspension in them rock hard.Originally posted by Martin View PostThe Silvia's would have been good - what was the Stagea like?
the stagea was fantastic! so much torque on tap. the let down was the transmission, but with a valve body upgrade it hardened up the shifts.

live in eastwood, but in ryde a lot. the stagea went a year ago, but you may see it in north ryde as the current owner works around there. he sold it on to someone down south - in a few days anyway.
my mrs mostly drives the 500. being that its 'hers'; except I paid for it

My first car was a HZ wagon with curtains courtesy of my gf at the time...

and my last before the Yeti was a VT Acclaim I kept for 12 years...no major problems in all those years and was still a good ride when I sold it

In between the rides included an assortment of holdens, fords, mercedes, a moke etc. I still have good memories of a mk1 Golf 4 door - under powered, under tyred but a lot of fun and very chuckable.Indium Grey Golf 7.5 Alltrack 135tdi Premium - all options

Good list of cars there, loved the S15's. Never got around to getting one unfortunately, dissapointing that they were discontinued. There was a real gap in the market for small reasonably priced rwd sports cars since then until the 86 came out. Never been a massive toyota fan though, except for the AE82 my missus had and now the 86 looks good.Originally posted by zei20t View PostAwesome amount and variety of cars here!

First: Silver 1981 Ford Laser Ghia - had to replace the engine
Second: Red 1993 Toyota Corolla GTi - one of the best cars I ever had. Dropped over 17's, exhaust and stereo tweaks
Third: White 1992 Subaru Liberty RS Turbo wagon. One of only 110 delivered to Australia. Some mods, but sadly a mechanical lemon!
Fourth: Took over my wife's 2000 Ford Laser. Not a bad car, but no fun whatsoever. During this time I also spent time in her VE Sportwagon company car - I hate Commonwhores. Only drove it for the free petrol.
Fifth: Black 2006 Ford XR5. Brilliant car. Best sound ever! Flashed, intake, exhaust, springs, bushes and swaybars.
Now: The VRS wagon. Love it. Best so far...just need some mods and to begin the storm trooper makeover.*****CURRENTLY FOR SALE***** See Sale thread
Candy White MY12.5 Octavia VRS TSI DSG wagon.
Black Plasti Dipped wheels, grille surround, roof rails and badges. Lowered 20mm, torque arm insert.

the new 86 is a fantastic looking car. I think the fact its powered by Subaru makes it less appealing to me.Originally posted by rc_vRS View PostGood list of cars there, loved the S15's. its a shame the Z replaced the S chassis. really loved driving those cars!

1999 A4 B5 2.4 V6. a lovely cruiser, wish i didn't have to sell it. never got to mod it, just happy to keep it looking absolutely mint.

Volcano black with the sand leather interior - was the best combination, and I've never seen it before or ever again...Last edited by cbay; 15-02-2013, 09:32 AM.2012 Yeti 77TSI, Candy White
