Fiat 124 Sport (CC model) - if the tin worm didn't get to this cracker of a car, I might've kept it!
Renault Virage sedan (Aussie built Renault 12) - it was a bit of a slug (a 1.4 and 3sp auto) but it was roomy and comfy.
Mitsubishi TN Magna SE sedan
Mitsubishi KS Verada wagon
Mitsubishi KJ Series 2 Verada wagon (yep, I liked my Aussie built Mitsus!)
Now - Octavia vRS wagon (and wifey has an Audi A1)

... and a few road motorbikes in the mix too!

Yep...I badged it GTI, and did the grille with the red stripes, and had GTI red trimmed floor mats etc...

Looked the whole package...in fact one dealer asked me "when did the GTI Tiguan get released?" Seriously!

OK, if we're going all historical, the GolfIV was preceded by a 1992 Civic hatch, which was preceded by a 1986 Civic hatch and the first car was a 1957 Beetle (36hp 1.2l, the first of the rectangular rear window version).

I find it so interesting to see the types of cars that have grabbed our attention in the past...(either cos we loved them...or could just afford them!)

No common theme either! we have everything from 4WD to hot hatches, to old holdens etc....

OK heres my short list:

First car, Nissan S13 Qs, 2L manual.


Replaced with a Nissan S15 Spec R, 2L turbo 6 speed.



Then for some reason got a Honda Accord Euro Luxury, 2.4L 6 speed manual.


Then traded for another S15, 2L turbo 6 speed manual.



Then swapped that for the M35 Stagea RX, 2.5L V6 turbo 5 speed auto.


And wifey drives a FIAT 500 1.4L 6 speed sport. Wish the Abarth was available when we got this:
