  • Just bought my new Eibach springs! Shhh...dont tell my wife!

So, I have just bought my new Eibach springs...and yes...no tellings the mrs....

They are well priced if you buy direct from Eibach in sydney. $380 for the set delivered!

I'm happy with that!...Now I just have to find a reputable place to fit them.

Any suggestions?? I'm in southwest sydney.

Camden GTI should be able to do it no probs.

With a hoist & the right tools:
15mins per side for the rears.
45mins per side for the fronts.

I'd go to Spinning Wheel in Alexandria for an alignment (or get the lot done at spinning wheels

$380 is a very good price. Do they do dampers as well?

It's 2.3 hours job for the front springs to swap and 0.9hour for the rear pair.
            Performance Tunes from $850

I was about to ask if your 2.3 hrs included the lunch break but then I realised you are talking about a single mech & when I did mine there were 2 of us on the job (where's the embarrassment icon?).

So, 3 hours for the fronts using jackstands in a very narrow garage & without any specialist VW tools (hub spreader, etc). Me: Old, unfit & "trained". My offsider: much younger, much fitter, untrained but very good on the tools.

I agree, a few hours to do all 4 springs sounds about right.

and that's a great price inc delivery!

which springs was that for? 20mm drop?

That's the quote from the book, how long it should take. If you were closer I could hire you as an contarctor and pay you for the time you're quoting. How's that?

So, you would do it in 6 hour, because there were 2 of you working on the car.
