Letting cars roll over to become a last year model invariably results in loosing $5k
Every month that a car is on the lot, it's costs finance/interest money

The reason why they have no new stock right now is however unexplained

Ah, but that might be because Trivett Blacktown is undergoing a major revamp. They have taken over the former Lander Toyota site and it looks like it will be the new location for Trivett.

When I bought my Octavia there in 2011, they also had a VW Commercial (ie Amaroks and Transporters) dealership - the same salesman handled both VW and Skoda at the time - out of a demountable office shoved in front of the Honda showroom. Classy...

It's now a full VW dealership at Blacktown. Skoda is now handled from their Parramatta (and Rosebery) dealerships (according to their website).

Interesting as I see so many more on the road in my area now though (north-west Sydney).
I thought that they just moved to the old Toyota yard around the corner??

I know!! it was so stylish hey!!?? That put me off buying from there, as they didnt even have a decent place to sit and work out the deal.

My proximity to dealership / service centre was my main buying point, and i'm disappointed now as it's gone.

When I was first looking at Skoda, they had just opened one in what was the Holden dealership, and put the SKoda desk in the used car lot as well as the Skodas.....the first 3 "Skoda" sales guys were more interested in selling a used Commodore to me and all said straight up we don't know much about it, you probably know more. After they said I couldn't test drive one, as the accountants daughter had it....they lost me. Others months later were told the same thing about the demo car...they lasted about 8mths before closing the SKoda bit down, man they were bad.
