Oh it also went in for the auto wipers not turning off when windscreen is dry and starting when I adjust the centre mirror and they said non genuine windscreen so not their problem. What a joke! If I use non OEM brake pads and the caliper fails are they not going to honour that as well? The windscreen was also put in by a Skoda Dealer!

yeah that's a dirty comeback from them. id be raising that with the dealer principal if you get nowhere with the service manager

If this is a common theme I would be (as mentioned) speaking to the dealer principle. If they still won't play ball, get Skoda head office involved and suggest that the ACCC could sort out this breach of Australian consumer law for you. Then see if they play nice
