Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

          Even cheaper for the pre-FL I don't even own yet!

          EDIT: No Free Shipping though and works out to have 41 Euro shipping

                    I was thinking how good the honeycomb one would look on the car until I saw the slot for the secondary bonnet release. Now that's all I see and it looks horrible.

                        i've always had my eye on the honeycomb version. but as time goes on, i think i prefer the fins. its gives the car the "skoda" look.
                        plus like K1W1 - the opening for the bonnet lever sealed it for me.
                        so i'm leaving mine as is

                          Just ordered mine ! Hopefully easy to fit. Any tips?

                              Drill your own bonnet release hole? Looks a lot better though.
