I went to open the rear rhs door yesterday and it wouldn't open. I can hear the door is being unlocked when I push the button on the remote but the door won't physically open. Is there a way I can get the door card off somehow while the door is closed?

Well I managed to get the door card off but you can't actually get to the lock without removing the window mechanism.Skoda Octavia Vrs 2008 TFSI Race Blue

You can't open it from either side? In or out? Ouch!

I have the car booked in at the local stealership to see if they can do anything about it.
Im not happy that I have had to pay for a mechanic to do it. I think this is the second time I have paid for a mechanic in about 20 years.
