Skoda Meet Part 2

Well we had a great day everyone!
Thanks for all the support from the whole group!

The weather was a bit of a pain for the first part of the day, as was the traffic...sorry to those who got lost or held up...

The last part of the day went really well through to Saddleback mountain, Kiama, Berry, Kangaroo valley, Robertson etc... The weather even cleared up for some great runs through the highlands areas...in sun even!!!

There will be some great photos posted up soon, but here are a few quick (unprofessional) pics to get the ball rolling....

We will keep everyone informed too re another drive day, and all suggestions will be implemented in order to avoid any drawbacks, and enhance our next day out!

What about the torque in Matti's desiel?

I've worked out how to save/load waypoints to/from the SD card
Unfortunately can't load it as one route or tour
We'll just have to name them WayPoint1, WayPoint2, etc
Then load the first one as the destination, then load the others as stop overs

- I had a thing going for photos at an angle. Feel free to rotate and recrop them if that's not your thing!
- I really like dArK5HaD0w's car! I reckon the colour really sets off the lines, and its easy to follow in traffic.

To the Speedfighter, Tigger and Mysticality - thanks for organising a great day. I really enjoyed driving on some roads that I've never been on before - we're keen to go back for another look sometime.

I would like to thank you all for coming to the first Skodafest EVER!!!!

Also, a special thanks to Matti/Sacha for setting this day up, and of course North Shore Skoda for attending the event and let us know for some very nice promotion opportunities!!!!

It was a great turn-out, and we (Tigger/Mysticality/myslef) did not expect such a big turn-out.
We definitely want to keep these days coming, and see if we can find the time to organize some small social gatherings just to keep the contact between us Skoda-Nuts going!!!

Again, THANK YOU ALL FOR AN AMAZING DAY OUT!!!!!

apart from the shaky start, a great day it was fellows. was nice to c so many skodas gathered. lots of RS octavias!!!!
great to have such a wide variety. i must say though.....it was very easy to find mine amongst those gathered others were "which one is my blue/anthracite rs?!??!" hehehehhe.

Great day out! Good company, interesting machinery, some great roads and scenery. Thanks to Lex, Matti and Sacha (sp?) for their efforts in organising and running the day - even if they did forget to seek the co-operation of the weather gods!! Though the weather was pretty woeful, it didn't dampen the enthusiasm of those taking part!

I'll try and get some of my "in-car" video sorted and posted up (I'm still re-building my PC after a Windows 8 install hiccup, so might take a few days...)
