Does anyone know what internal changes were made to the 2.0 litre 103kw TDI engines introduced on MY11 cars?
They have the same power and torque ratings but are quoted to use approximately half a litre less fuel per 100km. Visually identifiable by the oil filler cap moving from the right hand side of the car to the left hand side. I've noticed the later engines do not blacken their oil anywhere near as fast as the engines up to MY10. Anyone know what has changed internally that would cause this?
