its very clear/obvious that (pic above of black wagon) is a superb profile.

This car (and the wagon with the tailgate up) seem to have awfully low profile tyres for anything other than sports models. Whilst they don't have VRS badging and spoilers is it possible that they might be VRS mules in standard bodies (testing things like suspension settings, steering and engines)? Surely the standard model Octavias aren't gone to run tyres this low a profile.

What an odd thing to say... The Briskoda user 'RURU2010' took the photos himself and claimed that these cars were for the photoshoot, whilst adding in that the Rapid photoshoot was also in Chile. One pic shows a trailer of sorts pulling the Octavia from underneath like it is done in similar photoshoots for cars. What other fact is there Richard - what 'detailed inside info' are you not sharing with us? That is the car, who cares what it was doing whilst photographed?

It doesn't take a genius to surf the web, look at some photos closely and put two and two together.
I'm not sure about anybody else, but I'm really starting to tire of reading such nitpicking uneducated opinions...

Does look longer.. Assuming now it is also 5 star safety rated, kind of sad the current one is only 4 when pretty much everyone except for Suzuki and Great Wall, manage to get 5 stars across their range..
