  • NSW ambulance service using Skodas

I have just passed an Octavia wagon on Northern Road heading towrds Penrith NSW all set up as rapid response Ambulance / Paramedic.

I know they also used Foresters and Tiguans as well.

Nice to see someone in a position of authority choosing different cars than just the standard Aussie issue public service falcodores

I saw one in Goulburn a couple of years ago, and have a pic somewhere of one at Summer Hill depot (inner west) last year sometime.

Yes, I think so... but this is a Spotted thread. ;p

I *think* Bowral may have recently gotten its first ever RR vehicle - a Forester.
I wouldn't put it past the Ambo's to use Scouts, though. They do have VW as a supplier, afterall... and nothing else fits the decscription of the Scout, in the VWaG lineup.
Tiggy, sure... but lets face it, wouldn't it just look horrible in NSW ambo colours? XD

            TDI125 Scout, anyone? :p

Yes, the ambulance service are using plenty of scouts now. Theres a big ambo station near my house, so we see a lot of them. Scouts, plenty of caddys (long and short) transporters (4mo and standard) crafters, forresters, even a ford courier.

Local station definitely has a Forester (Or is it an Outback - bah, I can never tell)
I saw it today, heading somewhere. It looked ridiculous - the top LED light bar is divided into 4 sections. The three to the left were blue and the one on the right-hand end was red. Flashing all at the same time.

Whoever wired that up did it wrong. *facepalm* It looked so silly.
