  • Oil sensor workshop!

So I've picked up the car today from the dealership to get my knocking noise and wastegate rattle fixed. So as I drove off I've noticed the following:

    - yellow oil can flashing in my MFD
    - warning saying "Oil sensor workshop!"

Do any of you guys know what this is??

    Thanks,

    Lex

Happened to me on the first day I drove my car away from the dealer. Ended up a week later with a new oil pump

I'd say its got something to do with the oil, and to take it to a workshop ASAP. :S

Yes they have, and today they've diagnosed a problem with the Throttlebody which made a very high pitched noise. This will be replaced tomorrow.

            So far:
            Wastegate clip - Installed
            Oil Sensor - Replaced
            Throttlebody - To be replaced

Hopefully this will be it for a while

                    +1 on the wheels.

A couple of weeks ago, the GF sent me a pic of a Blue 09-10 (long aerial) wagon on the back of a tow truck, accompanied with the caption "OMG! Its totally your car!"
Don't know any details apart from that.
Needless to say, it made me sad.
Good to see the roadside assistance (maybe) coming to good use, though!

na mate, it came back as a sensor issue which is now rectified. However the annoying noise (high pitch) turned out to be a faulty waterpump. This now has been resolved as well.

Conclusion, I'll be coming in the Octy tmrw
