But they are all photoshops? I honestly thought the new Octavia will start being built now, for some reason I was thinking the current one is/has stopped production...you would think so seeing as the Jetta has been updated for a while now.

the new octavia will b based on the new MQB platform. the new audi a3 & golf mk7 will b the 1st to use this platform. the skoda & seat will follow suit.
audi have already started production of the a3 using the MQB platform, due out 2012. vw either have started with mk7, or will b starting very shortly - i'm not sure.
skoda is expected to start using it (MQB) mid-2013.
the rapid & citigo, though using the new design language, is still based on existing/old platforms.

other models across the VAG range will then start to cut across to the MQB platform.

They are all drawings. There isn't a photo there at all.

That means the Audi and VW will be 2013 models released in Sept this year at the European car show circuit. What you are saying is that the Skoda range will be 2014 models. Matthew Weisener had previously said the new Octavia was coming here as a 2013 model which would mean that it will (should) be released at the same time but maybe the timetable has slipped. If they are 2014 that's very disappointing to me I don't know whether I would want to wait 18-20 months from now to change my car.
Overall I quite like the shapes and design concepts. Are you sure that the one labelled Yeti is a Yeti and not a Scout replacement? The change in body shape is diametrically opposed to the design concept of the current Yeti.

New octy looks alright, hopefully the RS model will look a bit sportier.

I must say I really like that new Yeti. If they actually come out looking like that then I'll be considering one for the missus' next car.

That's what I'm confused about, the new Skoda was due to be shown late this year at the car shows on the showroom floors here about this time next year....VW have already pumped out the new Jetta and the Mk6 Golf so Skoda are within time to put their new car out in the next 12 mths.

Call me old fashioned but I prefer the current Octavia and Fabia over these. The Roomster and Scout are a nice evolution though.

It's not a Yeti it's a Scout replacement or if you want the wagon version of the new Octavia. I don't know where the mistake was made and the OP hasn't indicated yet whether the term Yeti was his or the site he got it from.

                  Probably the Yeti-esque foglights.
Whatever it is, I think it looks awesome and I want one

I assumed that the site you got the pictures from made the call and I also assume that they called it a yeti probably because of the large round front lights but if that is the Yeti then it would mean than effectively the Yeti has been killed and the name has transferred to what is now the Scout. If you compare the body panels to the Octavia images you will see that from the B pillar forward the only difference appears to be the front bumper. There is a different shape to the rear edge of the rear doors but without seeing images of the new Octavia wagon who knows all wagons may have those doors.

AFAIK the current Yeti does not share any body panels with the Octavia just like the Tiguan does not have Golf or Jetta panels so I just can't see this as being the new Yeti. If it is I don't really care because if whatever it's called is on the market when I need a new car that will be what I look at.

                        That Yeti... Oh, damn.

And the new Roomster actually looks like a people mover that people would consider owning!

                        ... Where's the Octy wagon, though? :/

Yep. An A1/Polo clone. In my current Fabia vs Polo dilemma it's almost tipping into Monte territory just on 'future nostalgia value' (if that's a thing!).

as said before, its the yeti.
                            translated from the "autobild.de" site:-

                            On the "Yeti".......
From 2015 brings the new Skoda Yeti. The successful concept remains the same, optically Skoda will be making even more on edge. The Snowman will round out 2016 with seven seats and a huge trunk, the SUV range of Skoda to the top.

                            On the Fabia.......
In the spring of 2014 is the third generation of the Skoda Fabia much leaner and more spacious at the start. The small car based on the so-called aloud AUTO BILD modular transverse matrix (MQB) of the VW group. This technology concept is to allow for greater diversity among the members of the VW family. For the Fabia, this means that he will grow little, offer a longer wheelbase but better space. From model year 2015, three-cylinder TDI diesel with 75 hp and 90 hp used. With the smaller model, the Fabia could be the three-liter car.

                            On the Roomster......
Also in 2013, the new Roomster is launched: The van is no longer drawn as futuristic as usual, gets sliding and growing on Touran size.

Where do I sign? Love the look of all of them, if they are as impressive as the current crop in all the major areas, I'd say they've addressed the biggest problem they have in aus, the awkward styling.
