Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    Octavia Technical Service Bulletin

    So I took my Skoda in for it's 1000km checkup. I was advised there was a TSB out on the Octavia 118tsi. It related to the turbo providing too much boost and causing the sensor to shut off power?

    I had a look around but couldn't find any information regarding this - does anyone know about it?

    Is there a re-work required at some point, or have they already performed it?

    You'll find that any technical bulletins are strictly an in-house thing.

      Wasn't enough time to do it on the day I took it in.. Said it takes 1.5 hours... Will be looking at it next week
