Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Am I the only one to notice this:
The 20 best cars to own - Telegraph
or has it been on and I missed it. If so apologies.
Anyway Skoda first, second and fourth.

    Great result for Skoda again.
Makes you glad you own a Skoda. Doubt you will ever see it in OZ. I was in the UK last month and whilst Skodas are common as dirt, there are a lot less Japanese brands well represented compared to OZ. (Nissan is one exception, very popular.)
My Skoda pics are at: http://www.vwwatercooled.org.au/f35/...tml#post551162

Great Result for Skoda. Certainly glad we ordered the Superb now!

I have to agree with you Onyertod. I was in Europe for 7 weeks, Skodas were everywhere, but the Japanese brands are certainly no where near as strong as they are here. I was in France for most of my trip, and Japanese cars were very rare apart from Toyota Aygos and iQs, and also the Nissan Qashqai (Dualis)

Skoda posted that on facebook, and I must admit before I had a chance to comment that about 50% of that result was due to the excellent work of UK SKoda and dealers, someone already had as well as others jumping in (including some here). Maybe just maybe it will sink in to someone at HQ that they need to do something.
