I just tried to check the oil level during weekend and found that the bonnet open lever did not have any tension.
The cable connecting lever and bonnet latch appears to be broken or snapped, but that is just my guess and could be something else.
Anyways, booked for a repair at Audi Richmond and will be dropping off my car on 9 Feb.
Just hoping that I won't be needing to open it before that.
Update:
Took my car to Richmond Skoda yesterday and they confirmed snapped cable connecting bonnet release lever inside cabin and the latch in the engine bay.
Parts (cable assy' i think?) ordered and will be arriving Australia in three weeks.
In addition to this, I also discovered that the one of the rear parking sensors has been pushed in. I will address this issue when parts for bonnet cable are arrived.
