  • Middle of the Road - RS wins

read an article in NRMA's current Open Road issue titled "Middle of the Road" - pg 46. they compare the Octavia RS, the Suzuki Kizashi, Kia Optima & the Mazda 6.

overall the RS gets the highest overall score, followed by the Optima, the Kizashi, and finally the Mazda 6.

praises for the RS in all aspects, except for design category.

with regards to power & performance, they incorrectly state that the RS uses the previous gen GTi (mk5) engine! they should get their facts right!!!!

I like the recent test notes on the Kia Optima in Top Gear mag. It seems Kia may be telling some "porkies" about their claimed 149 KW, also their long term test car is returning 15.1 l/100km rather than the 7.9 claimed by Kia.

            They've learned that from Hyundai.
