Skoda Offer to Western Sydney Giants Members

Got my giants membership newsletter today. Seems Skoda are offering a 5 year unlimited km warranty to giants members for cars sold and delivered before the end of the year. Membership was $50 last year. Not a bad idea, there's something like 12000 members for the club who'll get that email.

Fine print...

"Offer only available to valid Giants members when you present your membership card and this email to an authorised ŠKODA dealer. While stocks last. Full terms and conditions at your ŠKODA dealer."

Geeze, I was quoted $1800 for a warranty extension so passed as I could put that towards anything that may or may not happen.

Wow. Ouch! I thought it was more like $1200ish to extend the warranty.... I can only assume being backed by the factory the dealer won't have to pass it on? So at $1800 saved it could be a good $50 investment!
