    Happy Ending?

Has this saga had a happy ending?
You know you are getting old when you cancel your order for a 3.6 CC and buy an Icelandic Gray TDI CC instead.

      Nope!

Still waiting despite several phone calls & emails last week. Of course, they were all from me to them. They don't instigate or return correspondance.

I love the way the various staff contradict each other in what the policy/process is. At this stage, I can only look at the parties (at the dealership) involved & pronounce them as being either very confused or BS artists of the highest order.

As I commented to the Service manager the other day "Hw much of yours, VWs & my time are we going to waste over a $140 worth of work?"

Oh, and the high tone horn (the passengers side) gave up the ghost a month or two back as well. I'd forgotten all about it until last week. I asked them if they could add that to the warranty claim & was asked "which repair is more important to you?" WTF?

My car is in for a 75,000km service today. If the dealership had come through with the warranty work then I probably would have got the service done there at the same time. I can't put the service off any longer, so it's gone to my local independant specialist.

Latest is that they have agreed to a "good will" repair on the valve. They are waiting on an answer for the horn.
