Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    Installing a MFSW w/ paddles to replace my 4 spoke. What needs doing?

    Hey guys,

    Pretty much what the title says. if can get hold of a 3 spoke MFSW from a FL RS, what needs doing to instal it into my 118TSI?

    Swap it over, and then take it to a dealer to be reprogrammed so the paddles will work?

    Is it that simple?

    Also this one is from the UK, must be the same as our AU ones then surely???
