  • lost bluetooth connection

    Hello one and all
yesterday I picked up my octavia after about 7 months of waiting (pics hopefully up soon)
all is fantastic!!! and it really is a great car
however the bluetooth worked for about 3hrs then stopped. does anyone know what to do? ive read that the unit is under the drivers seat is there anyway to get to it? (I don't know how to get the front seat off) and then maybe reset it? or check the plug is in.
ive tried a few diff phones and its just not coming up
ive called the dealer and he said he would call the manufacturer and get back to me but im hoping its just a simple fix that I can do

    any help would be great
    cheers

delete the "pairing" on ur phone and the car itself.
    they try and connect again.

AS above delete the pairing. The control settings will be on the MFD between the speedo and tach. have a look at those and make sure that you didn't disable something when you were playing when you got home.

        thanks for the replies guys
I deleted the pairing form the iphone but I can't on the stereo system or the MFD telephone is no longer an option and when I press it on the columbus it just mutes the stereio (which tells me its not connected)
2 other phones couldn't find car bt either
called the dealer and the installer is coming out on Monday he said it sounds like a re-wire
sucks I have to wait but at least there is hope insight

Sounds like a connection has come loose somewhere.
