I read in the owners manual that the doors should lock when 15kph is reached. I'm pretty sure this used to happen but now doesn't. Is there some way to turn this feature on and off ? I can't seem to find the answer in the owners manual.
You do it in the dashboard display. Just go into the settings and you will find the appropriate box to tick.
I hate it I turned mine off because the doors don't unlock until you take the key out of the ignition or you are stopped and in neutral and turn your head to the right and poke your tongue out of your left nostril and have Abba playing on the radio or something similar.

Or just press the unlock button next to the hand brake :-P

I was waiting for someone to say that... Or to pull the handle twice! Sarge it's in Maxidot in some awfully hard to find setting. I like mine because it scares people who haven't been in the car when we drive .
i'm yet to find it - i want mine enabled. its disabled now.
for some reason i thought the dealer had to activate it.
i should go through my maxidot's menus again.
Mine is also disabled but i see it as a benefit to lock all doors - so when someone finds how can they provide brief details on how.

I have RTFM and nothing immediately jumps out. It is for this reason i was asking the question. If i had found it in the FM i would have posted it in this thread.
The only reference in the manual that mentions automatic locking is in COMFORT and states
Comfort* You can set the following functions (depending on the equipment installed on the vehicle):
Rain closing On vehicles with rain sensor you can switch on or off the function for automatic closing of the windows and the sliding/tilting roof in case of rain and locked vehicle. If it is not raining and the function is set, the windows including the sliding/tilting roof are closed automatically after approx. 12 hours.
Door open Here you can switch on or off the functions for opening a single door and automatic closing.
As you can see it does not immediately jump out at you.
Putting it in with Door open did not make it easy.

i went through every menu in my maxidot, and there is nothing that lets me enable/disable the "auto-lock door" feature!
the only "door" reference is with regards to whether just the drivers door, or all the doors r unlocked with the remote key fob.
i remember reading on briskoda forum that the auto-lock feature needs to be enabled by the dealer. i'd say vcds is needed.
UPDATE:
just went through the manual - according to page 39 -
"If you wish, you can have a specialist garage activate the automatic locking function."
