Read this just by chance.
I live in the hills and drive a black VRS wagon so could have been me ?
Will check the brake lights.
Excuse my ignorance, but what is pre FL ?
Only had the Skoda for a month or so.
Happy so far except for annoying squeaks that seem to be coming from the driver's door/window area.
This was a VAG exec vehicle from NSW apparently.
No it's a sedan with a rack on the roof that goes to Monash Uni each day.
Pre FL means before the FL version which is the current model. The pre FL ones were the 2007-early 2009 models that had the squarer headlights not the ones that sort of wrap up to the guards. If your Skoda is only a month old it's FL.
Sorry I'm asleep, that's my friends car. I'll tell them. Surely the car must be telling them itself. They keep the rack on as it was so hard to get on in the first place.
It was only when you said monash I realized who you meant.
I would have thought so but I haven't blown a bulb yet to know.
I know what you mean about the racks. I leave mine on even though I don't actually have bicycles on it that often. They do make the car easier to find in car parks though.
We all assume that but is that correct? On Skoda's site it's listed as the A5FL which we assume is the face lift of the A5 version but who knows whether that is the official designation or just a coincidence of letters.
Just to make it a bit more confusing, the RS wasn't updated until nearly a year after the rest of the range was. Same with the scout....but they had the new interiors inside, I wonder if the engine was still TFSI, I can't recall now, but there will be a years worth of RS cars out there that are bastardised and not what they seem.
