Attended the Melbourne dyno day today held at HPF and my car with stage 2 DNA tune and BMC flat panel filter pulled 150.2kw atw. Was mighty impressed Now what else can I do? Hmmm...

150atw is a great figure!
Had a quick squiz at the DNA tuning website, they only list info for Stage one. What does Stage 2 involve, curious to see what you have done .
Was looking on German ebay the other day and they had full 3" exhaust systems for the octavia which when out to dual exhausts out the back
From memory, stage 2 tune was a tad bit higher than stage 1 tune which was rated at 188kw and 409Nm. Stage 1 tune was about 8kw and 8Nm less there abouts.
All that has been done to the car is the stage 2 tune and flat panel BMC airfilter. No other mods. You can contact John Lu who is the Authorised Aussie dealer of DNA tuning. He's also a sponsor of this forum. Look him up in the sponsors section. The BMC filter on the other hand, I got myself as I'm a dealer of BMC products and Bilstein and H&R and Forge Motorsport and MTEC automotive lighting products.
From memory our S3 is 188kw but only around 250Nm (manual trans). To nearly double the torque for the same power sounds a bit strange to me but I guess with modern engine mapping you can do plenty these days.
409nm!! I have 'heard' the the DSG box is only rated to 350nm, are you running a 6M or DSG?
So what is next on the list?
Running 6M. Basically the power figures are similar to what APR proposes but I guess it produces it in a different way?
If it was a DSG, I wouldn't want to be too adventuristic in case the DSG gives up the ghost shortly after the warranty expires then I'll be stuffed for a big repair bill. Manual on the other hand, I don't feel guilty about.
Would like to upgrade the exhuast system and downpipe but wifey would notice for sure and therefore kill me. Already had to detune my polo gti and pull out the downpipe cause it was too loud. It basically took out the top end power. If money wasn't tight at the moment, and if wife permits, then KO4!!! But asides from power upgrades which I kinda think is relatively pointless unless you're planing on tracking the car, I'll just go for some simple cosmetic mods. Had to put the superskoda stuff on hold for a while cause I had issues with them replying me with shipping costs and payment options (their website is flawed when it comes to shopping cart and country of proposed delivery of parts).

i dont know much about this, but would that not come down to the power delivery @ whatever rpm's etc? given that you have to take rpms and that funny constant into account when determining figures? bah... i dont know. i've had one too many glasses of wine.
anywhoo...... take an oval shaped bowl, a pencil, and a piece of paper. place the bowl on the paper, then trace the upper edge with the pencil. that is dave's graph. seriously.... seeing that dyno plot in person - that power curve is so f**king smooth, it's not funny.

Had my RS done by APR, stage 1 is 188kw and about 400+nm , manual , i believe your right about the DSG .
I see the 1.4l twin charges are having lots of trouble with the APR upgrade with a DSG see VW forum .
Car is pretty urgent now , best to utilise it in rural ares , very smooth delivery , with less gear changes , economy unchanged in city still around 8.5l .
