Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • TOLEDO due next month

Anyone else got a car coming in on the Toledo due here middle of next month?
You'd think after 6 months I would be a professional at waiting....... but I'm not. I suppose I would be happy to have the car early March since I want bluetooth and reversing camera added by the dealer. This is going to be a hard 4-6 week wait.

No, but I've got a car on the Otello which is due in Melbourne on 6 Feb. It was originally scheduled for 30 Jan, so I'm hoping there arent any further delays. I've only been waiting since the end of September, which probably isn't too bad compared to others on the forum.

before: MY11 RS TSI manual wagon, race blue, sunroof, tint, MDI

Mine would have been on that ship but I asked for my car to be put back to a January build for obvious reasons, so I think I got Jan 4th based on assumptions from the loading documents. If so, can't complain and Skoda did a great job. Feb 6th is just around the corner!! Lucky bastard

Mine was on the Don Pasquale and offloaded January 10th in Melbourne. Dealer confirmed nearly two weeks ago that it was in pre-delivery but I'm still waiting for the call. What on earth do they do with their time? If patience is a virtue, I'm due for a sainthood!
Skoda Superb Elegance Wagon 2.0 TDI DSG, Storm Blue Metallic, Glamour Ivory - Onyx floor, Panoramic roof, False floor, 3 spoke steering, Roller blinds, MDI, KESSY, Power tailgate, Tow bar - delivered and in service as of February 23rd. They didn't tell me there was no Bluetooth - grrrr.

Seems you have great taste in extras as well. Except for the tow bar and engine variant we have gone identical. I couldn't decide on the tow bar so went for bluetooth and reversing camera instead. Trying to see what I can also do about luxon rims as well but not holding my breath too much on that one. Although would be nice!!

First of all - lucky b@%$3s! I'm amazed at the waiting times . . . mine's in build status which doesn't necessarily mean that build has commenced . . . especially when there's no eta . . . was originally early May . . . only been eight weeks since order. I've read that in the UK, Skoda are paying compensation for delivery delays . . . that's not good.
