Octavia RS 2.0 TSI 451hp/612Nm

German MTE studio modified an Octavia RS and pushed it to 451hp.

The motor data:

* 2.0TSI 200hp / 280Nm Series
* 451PS / 612nm at 1.6bar boost

The performance increase was achieved by the motor:

* modified exhaust manifold
* Garrett GT30 turbocharger
* 100CPSI RaceKat
* 76mm exhaust system
* larger injectors
* Reinforced connecting rods and rod bearings
* Sachs Clutch
* VA brake 375mm 8-piston Brembo

I assume this would be similar to the Stage 4 upgrades for the 2.0TSI engines that they are doing in the US.

Not sure about the painted front end though, makes it look like a new Ford FPV.

Would the 6speed manual or dsg be able to handle that much power?

Gearbox should be fine, along with the rest of the drivetrain - as long as you don't do a ''drag race start'' at every set of lights

What I find interseting is that they are making all that power, however the still have the OEM Air Intake / Air Box. No after market Barrel / Pod / Modshack etc. Maybe the OEM setup is ok after all???

that is an impressive build!!
its almost equivalent to an audi b7 rs4, sitting at 467 Hp and 645 Nm.

i'd hate to see it try & takeoff in the wet, let alone the dry
