      BOOOYAH !!!

Nice, mate, nice. Should be a world different going to a full on composite, especially on the longer rides.

Will be good once arse has acclimatised to the new saddle Greg!! I wasn't going to commute on it but that's going to be the best way to get used to it.

No computer fitted yet, so I can't really track any variables to see improvements.

Giant make the best bang for buck bikes. I nearly bought a TCR before i went Scott.

If the saddle does not settle, change it. Everyone suits different saddles. I am happy with a lightweight one that a mate hates. Each to there own.

Full carbon bikes make for nice smooth running. You will love it. Going to carbon wheels was the finishing touch for mine.

Any chance you could get the same seat as the Meridia?
For me personally I won't sit on anything but specialized, definately helps keep blood flow to vital organs!
Monkey is right Giant have always been at the pointy end of great value, was the premier brand by far back in the shop days.
You need some more special grease mate?

I could get another seat like the Merida's but the Fizik looks smart! TBH no I have done another 4 ks on it, it's not been so bad. I have replicated the measurements on the Giant from the Merida. Except the bars are 10mm lower. My right hand is getting a bit numb if I don't left my hands regularly.
It also doesn't seem so good on the hills, I am wondering if the DT Swiss, wheels are heavier than the Shimano ones that Greg got me? I'll take them off and check that out.
Fitted my computer last night, I was hammering at 47kmh on the flat into work this morning. A bit of a tailwind mind but my average was way up.
Got plenty of special grease still Greg. Will look at the news wheels this weekend too. The Shimano wheels run forever on a little flick.
I tell you what I noticed most, the 105 brakes can whoop the ass off the Sora ones. Stoptastic!

Jesus! ... Gavin, can't you use a better remap in your ECU?

What is the seat tube angle on the Giant vs the Meridia? I will check out the wheels, but I doubt it as DT is generally nice stuff!
Gearing different? Crank length the same?
You can raise the bars by changing the stem, or usually by flipping the one you have mate : )

Off out with the boys on Sunday morning. That will be the best way to see how I am going. I really need to weigh both sets of wheels and see if there's anything in them.
Sealed bearings in the DTs so not going to be able to do a good special grease job on them....
Felt like I had lead in my legs on the way home tonight, yet I was within a minute of my best time???? Into wind as well. Has to be just a perceived effort thing???
Miro, I need to change my intake system I reckon.

The Giant did good yesterday in the Tailwind Shop ride. No pain at all except my quads from the effort I put in. The bike feels familiar now which is a good thing.
