What a great day!

CanberravRS and I arrived first, and I was a bit nervous about how many others would turn up. It was really good to see Skoda after Skoda turning the corner.

The weather was nearly perfect, a few annoyingly slow vehicles on the windy bits, good talking to others who know far more about the cars than I do, and more time to talk over a late-ish lunch at the end.

It's a funny thing to walk up to a car and then have to double-check that it's yours - as a Skoda owner, that just NEVER happens!

It was really great to have a Roomster there. I've never had the chance to see one up-close (although there is a red one trundling around here) and it rounded out the range nicely (just what is it with blue vRS wagons?).

Finally, my wife asked me last night if it felt strange to meet people who I have only ever known online. Maybe at the start, but I would definitely do it again.

Well guys, it looked like you had a great day and the selection of photographs is interesting viewing.
Hate the fact that i had to miss it but unfortunately work commitments forced me to miss out and sleep was calling.

I would also like to thank everyone involved in the organisation in getting the Drive off the ground (even though i missed it ).

Well done to all those NSW and ACT forum members for organising and participating in the drive day. The pictures are excellent and it was great to see all the skodas lined up together.

If you can wait until December, then I can try to organise another drive. I real enjoyed it, it's good to see so many great cars. If we are a bit more organised, we should be able to get a few more along by promoting through the dealers.

I'm not back until the 16th. Provided my car is still in one piece (don't tell my wife I said that!).
