Mmm just gave the RS a wash, thinking I should take it for a spin into the Newy Foreshore and get a couple of pics.......mmm

Time for a detail soon though. Might do it this week - clay bar, wax cleaner, and final wax. Am trying Dodo juice Lime Prime light with Supernatural Wax to see how that comes up. All polished up just before i start taking new footage for the little video clip I'm making..........

Prob would have been good to throw it in the events section.
I've been taking a Mk4 R32 in recently, b ut sometimes in a silver mk3 VR6. Usually have a Silver Mk5 GTI with me also.
Sunday arvo's on the grass are an awesome relax. Hopefully catch ya one time...

Hey Dave, I didn't end up going to the Foreshore in the end, spent too long at Bunnings to warrant a drive into town. But I would really like to catch up with you at some stage, especially because you have the same coloured VRS wagon as us, and I want to do some sample video footage at night if you're keen ?? Just getting ready to make a small "ad" style clip and need to work out angles and lighting/camera settings before heading down to Sydney to do the proper shoot. Let me know if you want to catch up......

Not exactly sure how many are in Newy, I see a couple around now, but I think VRS147 is in Valentine and he's currently waiting for his car to rock up.

Hi.....looks like we have the potential for a "mini" meet in Newcastle. I haven't really looked around this forum much....only the Skoda section. Don't wan't to get anyone's nose out of joint, but maybe a thread for a Newcastle meet up some time would be good. Would it be ok to have that thread start in the Skoda section, or is there a general social events section that it should go in. (I am likely to miss it, if its in there).

dazag, I'd be interested to hear more about your ideas for the video you want to shoot. I'm a bit of a pict / vid whore when it comes down to it. Send me a PM if you like.

Yeah a little mini meet in Newcastle would be good, just to show the cars off a little ha ha ha. could imagine a convoy of Skoda's going down the foreshore amongst the usual weekend enthuseists....... Would make for some good pics at least.
