Just a query if new arrivals 103TDI are now all common rail. Thinking seriously of getting the Octavia Scout and would prefer CR.

Have read several reviews etc, all most positive, but no mention if CR.

probably not as cut and dried as with VW's. VAG have a history of getting rid of old engines in other marques.

if you go to the dealer, ask what engine codes are on offer.... then all you need to do is a quick google search and you'll find out:

Yep all the new arrivals are common rail. The switch to CR wasn't really listed by Skoda Australia when it arrived so the reviews wouldn't really mention it anyway.
