  • Does anyone know where I can get..

a second folding hook for the boot?
Skoda part number: DMA 610 007 Folding hook for boot (with screws)

Happy to pay for it. I offered Skoda Australia money for it, but apparently, it's one of the accessories that they don't carry.

I've tried a few overseas places like Superskoda, Octavia-RS, Jorily, but no luck so far...

Did you try Skoda NZ. NZ car companies tend to be much better at parts availability in my experience.
Other than that perhaps Briskoda might be a place to try or see if you can get a group buy happening here and buy 10 or so from a UK dealer.

There was a Brit dealer on BriSkoda that was happy to post at one point. Haven't been on that board in months so can't remember more details. Sorry.

      edit: Horton Skoda??

Just a thought - aren't these hooks standard in the boot of the Passat sedan? Maybe they are carried by VW under a different part number.

Didn't think of that. I might have to investigate that path. I think it might be more fruitful!

              Thanks!

I got it from TM TUNING - your connection for European aftermarket and OEM VW and Audi parts
                    US$10.90, but shipping is extra.

I had some credit with them from my GTI days, so shipping was covered, but I think it would be about US$6.00 or so. It's probably about the same price as getting it from a VW spares place...

Thanks I will check out both options but in my experience with motorcycle and camera stuff it's unlikely that something from the USA would cost $6 in freight. US$25 would be much closer I would have thought.

Everything from TMTuning comes from Germany, as that's where they are located. They sell mostly to Continental US, so US and Canada have a toll free number.

There's also Parts4Euro but I think they are from HK. Have not bought anything from them though

                          Thanks.
Ordered one from TM Tuning it came to just under US$25.00 including the faster of the two airmail services they offer. They certainly don't whack you for freight like the yanks do.
I didn't really see anything else on their site I was interested in but I'll have to spend some time having a good look.
