  • Electric seat and KESSY integration, is there any?

Just wondering if the electric seats in the new Superb will automatically move when the KESSY system is activated. For example, if I have a fob and my wife has a fob will the car identify which fob is being used and therefore as you open the door the mirrors and seat move to that persons preferred seating position or will it be a case of choosing between the preset buttons on the side of the seat? I know the Audi system is fully integrated, is Skoda's?
Has any one got KESSY yet? Any feedback? Good or bad?

I haven't got that pleasure but it means you cannot just grab the wife's keys to duck down the shops... (unless she's been nagging you and you want to p*ss her off by changing her settings!).

Thought about that. I do that all the time so it would mean needing to press the memory buttons on the side of the seat to adjust. Have any KESSY cars arrived yet?

I know my dealer in Canberra has ordered a V6 with Kessy, and yes i believe they can be married up to the seats.

KESSY will not control your electronic seat and mirrors... This remains as the function of your 3 position seat memory.

I think KESSY is getting mixed up here. In our Mazda 6, it knows which fob belongs to which person and will change the mirrors and seats accordingly. There is no KESSY for them, its just the immobiliser chip it recognises. I would think it would work the same, or does that not occur already with the electric seats? If not I bet its just a function that is turned off to spite us.

I found this in their manuals for cars after June, 2010 with a little hep from Briskoda

Assigning the remote control key to the memory buttons on the KESSY*
              system

On vehicles which are equipped with the KESSY* system, the following procedure for
assigning the remote control key to the memory buttons exists for electrically adjustable
              front seats and mirrors*.
              – Switch the ignition off within 10 seconds after storing the setting.
              – Open the driver door.
              – Press the unlock button on the remote control key within 10 seconds.
If you wish to be able to retrieve the settings which are stored in the memory by also
using the radio remote control, you have to assign the radio remote control to a
              memory button in each case.
If you wish, you can obtain an additional remote control key from an authorised Škoda
Service partner and then assign the remote control key to another memory button.

Just begs the question now do you get one or two remotes with the new car? I would assume 2.....

                Correct.

Don't lose one though. Saw an article the other day about key replacement for new cars. Ouch!
