Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

In that spec I'd say that'd be worth around $55k and I've not seen a fully loaded one on carsales etc, but a few on here are fully loaded so I'm sure they'll reply. The addition of sat-nav is a very good move Skoda Australia .

Geeze when I got mine, a shade over 40k got everything, I paid well under 40k, but the TDi had just come out and the only option I didn't get was the Xenons...I also have a hatch. 55k sounds a bit much even if there are a few more options.

Realisticaly I d say about $43-44 driveaway if you bargain hard and are prepared to walk and wait. Thats if they are in stock in Oz, more if its a special order.

An RS TDI DSG Combi with my postcode is $49k drive away, with all options at current specs I reckon it'd be pretty close! Of course, bargaining is a very good thing!

$48k sounds about right for when you brought yours but they are now around $1,000 cheaper new and they come with free sat nav for MY11, thats around another $4k off before you start.

Previous posts you listed massive issues with sat nav and getting it fixed, maybe you should chat to your dealer and HQ it seems as though you have a case for compensation, you purchased in good faith and you can't get your aftersales matters resolved and they dropped the price on you dramatically.

it might test how much they really value their limited cliental in OZ???

An RS TDI DSG Wagon with all the options comes in at $54,485 included dealer charges and on road costs for Victorian customers. This is based on an MY11 as now they have satellite navigation as standard equipment. If your keen to purchase please feel free to contact me and I would be happy to assist.

nope - it comes with the "Amundsen" satnav as standard. apparently its less spec'ed (functions) to the columbus.

I am in NSW and have requested one from my dealer when they become available (dont forget Wes). Dont make the mistake of going to other worldwide sites as they will probably be wrong and only confuse the issue of whats in or out.
