  • Who would like Seat Covers?

I wanted to get some properly fitted/tailored seat covers for the VRS, but without much luck.
There are some available at speedskoda.com, but they are a bit expensive, and I am not keen on the look of them anyway.

Closer to home, Inland Australia tailor make seat covers, in a wide range of trims. Problem is they have never done an Octavia before, so they have no template to work from.
My choices are: Wait 6+ weeks while they get hold of a demo car and make a new template, or travel to Sydney from Canberra to let them measure mine or...

I wonder if some other wise vrs owner in Sydney wants to get fitted seat covers from Inland, thus paving the way for me (and countless others) to order a set from other parts of the country?

    Anyone?

I had a set made for my vRS in Annandale in sydney, they were $450 from memory.

    Black Australian Merino. Bloody fantastic!

I can get the blokes details for you, he might even still have the templates from my car. He can make them any way you like. I had mine done to completely cover the white parts of the seat, on the lower squab and the backrest in a 'strip' style, so that the bolsters are exposed and wont impede the Airbags or anything. Mine are held in with buckles on the underside and through the headrest spokes.

I looked at the CZ market - just google "Autopotahy Octavia" and you find a lot of sites in Czech republic with some nice accessories. Škoda Tuning - Tuning-no1.cz
I didn't see the English language option on that site so you will have to use google translate.

Models are listed in alphabetic order, so Octavia accessories start around page 30, I like the prices there; this for around $100 Škoda Octavia II - Møížka nárazníku s boèním sáním - ABS èerný, møížka - èerná - Tuning-no1.cz
Some nice Roomster and Superb accessories there too.

Raph, I believe the seats in the RS have larger side bolsters. Not 100% sure though.

Calais, Who did your covers, and did they measure for the whole seat, or just the middle strip?

We have leather seats in out RS. And the wife has asked about rear seat covers (we have an 8month old) so baby vomit could be an issue.

So any solution for the rear seats?

            thanks.

Apart from the black fabric bit, the leather works fine for baby spew anyway. To be honest, its either mostly contained in the seat when they are young, on the back of the seat in front (which is vinyl anyway) or on the carpet....so we just put a big towel under the seat to protect the seat in the first place.

Your leather maybe the same as ours but our leather on the piece that you sit on is perforated. so worried that the liquid will escape into their.
