  • Octavia stud pattern

    Hi All,

What is the Octavia stud pattern 5x100 or 5x112?

I've googled through pages and pages and have come up short.

    Cheers

thanks Antiplastix. I just registered with Briskoda. Quoting this from a thread I found

"Make sure you buy a 5x112 wheel from a mk2 Octavia as Mk1s had 5x100 stud pattern"

Other threads are suggesting the same. So it appears mkI is 5x100 and mkII is 5x112

So based on this I'm guessing OEM Golf/Jetta/A3/A4 wheels will fit (just need to check offset)?

        5x112

Not sure why but the ET on Audi wheels always looks excessive (ie: /pulls figures out of air......Golfs & Skodas are like ET42, Audis are ET35) - suggest you trial fit.

You have to be careful about what you read on Briskoda they tend to say things that are confusing to us Antipodeans.
I think that when they refer to the Mk1 Octavia mean the model before the one that was introduced into Australia in 2008 i.e. a model we never had here (production up to 2004). The one that was introduced into Australia was the Mk11 (2005 onwards production) and subsequently there was the MkLII facelift in 2009 that we now have.
I suspect that all Skodas sold in Australia since the relaunch will have 5x112 studs.
Don't forget that the Octavia name has been used by Skoda for yonks (30 or 40 years) and in the UK they have had Skodas on sale regularly since the early 1990's.

            All Aussie Octavias are 5x112.
All Audi wheels should fit, just be careful with Offsets.

The Octavia nameplate turned 50 last year I believe.
