I've mentioned several times that Skodas were available in NZ during the 1960's and 1970's well here is another piece of Skoda history in this region - the Trekka!.
The history is interesting a worth a bit of a read.
Whoooo.......31.5 ft turning circle, your not getting up Macquarrie Pass in a hurry in that one, you d be doing a few 3 point turns.
I hate to tell you this but that's only 9.6 metres and it's a good 2 metres better than the Superb or around 0.6 metre (2 feet) better than the current Octavia. Worse still it's around 1.3m (3.6 feet) better than the current Golf.
