Tour Down Under Skodas

Anyone have any idea when the many Skodas (few Superbs, lots of white RS wagons, few Roomsters) might land in dealers yards? I assume they will be sold as "demo" models?
Also does anyone know whether these RS wagons were diesel or petrol? I was at the TDU but could not be sure as there was too much noise to hear the engines.

"19 teams (18 international and one local squad) of seven riders, which competed in TDU used identically-specified white Skoda Octavia RS wagons as team cars"..........but it doesn't quite state what you are after. INteresting read though and good to see for the brand.

From what I could hear they were Diesel. One team had the previous model so that's one less off the total. The Tour Parade cars were certainly diesel.

Rats ... I was hoping they were petrol as I am interested in a white petrol TSi DSG wagon and thought there might be some deals going .....

They did have them at some dealers last year after the event, I suspect others might go to the auction yards.
