Dont know what a diesel costs , but rs tfsi cost me $387 ,, castrol slx 111 oil was $105 of that , liquid gold . Loan car $35 , rest labour $169 plus parts .

My mechanic who does my 2002 bm told that" oils aint oils " and pay the price for the gold and get greater life of motor ,, who knows

    cheers

I bought my 2.0 diesel RS DSG at FTG Skoda but have recenntly moved to Brisbane so had the 1st (15000) service at Brisbane Prestige Group. Labour was $193.50, parts(oil filter & sump plug & washer) $22.62, Mobil One oil $120, misc $18.20 for a total of $389.75, which I thought was fairly reasonable.

MIne is due in mid Nov, when did you get yours from Richmond?

I was told around the $300 odd mark there, need to get onto it soon as its nearly been a year and is at 14k.

Make sure they put the correct oil in it (VW 504/507), and that they write on your invoice what oil they used (it helps focus their mind on the issue - unfortunately not all dealers are aware of how fussy VAG TDIs are about having the correct oil in them).

My 30,000km service & brake fluid flush was quoted at $424 but the final bill was:

            labour = $135 (1.4hours?)
            Pollen Filter = $14.70
            Oil Filter = $19.10
            Sump plug (Washer?) = 3.15
            1L Brake Fluid = $17.75
            parts subtotal = $54.70

            SynPower xl-111 5w30 = $68.40

            Shop & Environment = $15

less WOW discount (don't ask) $27.31
            plus GST $24.58
            TOTAL $270.35

For the 15,000km service i was told $235 when i bought the car; then quoted $290 when i booked it in; then that became $344 which was subsequently reduced to $281 after some discussion.
The 15,000km is only an oil & filter change, a few checks & a diagnostic.

I bought mine this year in June with 9000kms on it. I've managed to do 6000kms in 4 months.

I'm expecting around the $300 mark for the service
