Whats your overall opinion on Skoda services

I purchased my car at Steve Jarvin Skoda in Burwood...
ALthough had few hicaps at the beginning with delayed delivery, but otherwise salespeople were genuine and very confident in this car.... Even with service and few problems - I had calls few times from their service departments to check if all was in good order... that was quite suprising...
Another thing to mention - they have a finance guru - Robert. When I was purchasing my car, my situation would not suit most of the lenders guidelines. But Robert worked his arse off to get my deal done. Highly recommend him if you need a finance for your next car, hopefully Skoda , or have some problems in organising finance....
I don't wonna sound too commercial, but he is really really good... i'm not leaving his details here, but if you do a search on steve jarvin motors or something, phone number should be there...
use him - you will not regret that

There is only one Skoda dealership in WA. I found their sales service to be excellent. Friendly, not pushy, quite happy to let us take the car for as long as we wanted. Pretty much spot on.

Unfortunately for servicing it has to go down the road to the VW dealership. I've dealt with them before, so will be taking the Skoda to a VW independant specialist, who comes recommended from this forum. It's going there in a couple of weeks. When I booked it in, he was the first person I've spoken to that already knew an Octavia RS is basically a Golf GTI with a different body.

Steve Jarvin Burwood... ****TT!!! absolutely ****

today I installed my RNS510, decided to do it myself. Before I purchased the car I wasn't able to accept the fact the car didn't have rear speakers. SO they installed it for me, today when I took the radio apart the wires where simply wrapped around the stick ( where the Rear right and Rear left wires). Not welded, soldered or anything. Absolutely discraceful. Another thing, I've had a clutch problem and they have acknowledged it, however they don't know. Also when I purchased the car it was dirty as hell, the majority was clean but under the chairs, door jams, rear boot ... alll dirty. It's really a great car and a shame fools such as these should operate to sell such a great vehicle.
