the Octavia bars do fit the RS and should be aproblem with the ball weight. it is a pretty standard ball weight across the VW & Skoda range. Most trailers these days are tandem so there isn't much weight on the vehicle unless you load it up unevenly.
The Touareg has a 350kg down ball weight but that is expected to tow a Jumbo.
Tow bar Part # SKO803921OCT07 (upto 2009 - facelift)
only one harness is needed. below are the two options.
Wiring harness Part # EEA600101AEL4 (for vehicles with no towbar preperation)
EEA600002EL4 (for vehicles with towbar preperation package)
