Announcement

Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • I am confused about the Karoq

    Hi there,

How many Karoq lines or variations - or whatever they call it - will there be in Australia in 2019?
I read about Karoq Scout, Karoq Sportline. Are these in addition to a plain vanilla Karoq, or replacements?
Very confusing and I don't see any attempt on the Skoda Australian website to explain it. One should not be required to go to the dealership to find out.

And when will all the 2019 models be available?

as far as i know, the Scout will NOT be coming to Oz.
we don't have confirmation on weather we will get the Sportline version either.

for now, its just the 1.5 TSi, currently available.

so no confusion - u have just the one choice here in Australia!!!
u can thank VW Aus for that
