I think you're the guinea pig on this one... If it's any help in your decision, car makers change as little as possible on different versions of the same model, and I couldn't imagine there being any need to change the shape/arrangement of the bonnet and engine bay. It's not that expensive really; I've spent similar amounts on things that turned out to be junk when I got them - disappointing but not a disaster.

On the other hand, given it appears to be Chinese made, I'd be worried about it failing and the bonnet crashing down, possibly on my head!

Does this mean the Fabia doesn't come with struts? I've had hood/boot struts on my cars for over 20years!

Boot struts yes. Hood/bonnet struts no.

I don't know what you drive but I've had twenty cars of my own and driven hundreds of different makes in government service over the years. I think I've driven like two or three cars with hood struts standard.

Always wanted to put the bonnet up without trying to find the little stick, hence the interest.

I thought they were Turkish or Czech, but on checking, they are from Taiwan.

Bought them and they've shipped.

Let's see how good a mechanic this nurse is when they come.

Could get ugly.

To go on the RS:
Narva Arctic Blue +50
VRS dead pedal
The cheap paddles (good paddles at tax time?)
Hood dampers


Coming off:
Some of the smaller, less relevant decals.
(Paint damaged by fruit bats, needs the paint repaired and some of the decals that get in the way.)
