My 2005 Skoda Fabia Vrs

hey guys

this is my mk 1 skoda fabia vrs ive owned this car coming up to 2 years now and heres the progress ive made so over those past 2 years

05 registration
1.9 TD PD130
130BHP
Cruise control
Electric Windows

16" Spider Alloy Wheels
Front And Rear Discs

Ok so heres as it stood at the garage






then after noticing the calipers were looking a bit dull i decided to give them a lick of paint and freshen them up so i sourced some Green paint to match and got to work. below is pictures of the worse corner that needed painting

then once that was sorted i decided to upgrade my stereo to one i could use my ipod touch with and ended up with a very nice Pioneer headunit for very little money, got it fitted and heres how it looks





and finally after listening to the Girlfriend moan about having nowhere to put her cans of coke etc i went about getting an cup holder (she left a few weeks later) lol, the one below is from a Polo 6n and fits just nicely

Cupra TDi bushes from awesome Gti and powerflex polybushes for the rest



and some new top mounts



next came a new exhaust system

after the car making a funny whirring noise on the rear left i decided to get my car looked at thinking a wheel bearing had gone.

so what we did find was the rear pads had seized so were rubbing on the discs and had even got hot enough to start melting the back of the pad and had a big chunk of pad missing off one corner so new pads and discs were fitted today

after hitting a pheasant i ordered a new grille below is what damage the pheasant did





so spent half hour swapping the new grilles over heres the result

bought an LCR splitter off my mate at the weekend and got it fitted





and finally had my wheels powdercoated and refurbished, heres the result

had my wheels sent in to be refurbished and powder coated, heres the result



sat at the works waiting to be collected

Nice looking ride. We didn't get the Fabia Mk 1 out here.

Nicely done mate! I actually think the mk1 Fabia RS looks better than the mk2. Looks slick.
