Seems coolant is dripping out from behind this part. Can you get them local for not insane $$$ ?

Any other way to fix? ie: sealant or something

I bet it's leaking from the joint to the head. Back in the UK I had one blow off the head on my Passat Wagen. The early 16V Golfs had aluminium ones. I have one in the shed. You'll need an O ring but I'll send it express for $25.

The part number will be on it, so google away.

Could it be just the O ring I need? How does the part actually get damaged? Thanks for the reply and offer btw

      Seal seems to be 027 121 139 A

The plastic fails and doesn't hold the O ring in place. If you take yours off you'll see. Try an O ring it may work for a short while but it'll go again.
