  • Front and rear end suspension

Can anyone tell me what steering and suspension setup the 16v twin cam has, I have heard conflicting stories, and when I go to pedders etc, they say 2.0l single OHC. I understand that the front end is a golf mk3 and the rear is a polo 6n. can anyone confirm this?? Cheers

Sorry i'm not answering the question but... I would recommend going to a suspension place that know euro cars, and have some experience with Golfs or Ibiza's. Pedders in general are not one of them. I know they are rare but it's worth the effort trying to find someone. It took me 3 shops and a lot of headaches just to get my alignment right after changing wheels and fitting lowering springs in my 8v.

Why use Pedders, buy a kit specific to the Cupra. You know it will fit and the job's done.

      Cheers

You are correct is saying an Ibiza is Mk3 front and 6n rear.

If you have a look at eBay or any of the UK Vag online stores there is plenty of options for springs, cup kit of coilovers.

I dont think one place in Australia would have any aftermarket suspension for a Cupra.
