Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Just brought her home... HELP!!

Hi everyone, I have just bought home my new addition to the family a 1995 Seat Ibiza GTI. What a cool car to drive! Unfortunatley I have no manuals etc for the car and need to ask an important question.. Where the hell does the water go? I have absolutley no idea about these cars except I fell in love with it straight away. Could someone give me a few ideas where to look.
    Thanks

Do you mean the engine coolant, or the water for the washers? You should see two water tanks toward the back right of the engine bay. The furthest back is for the engine coolant, and the other one is for the washers.

Well, at least that's where mine are in my 1995 SEAT GLX...

Welcome to the SEAT family. The GTI is the pick of em in my opinion.

Post up your location so you can get regional info.

If you need any help or parts, you are in the right place.
