went to change the battery on the Ibiza. I pulled out the old battery when i had the key inside the car and i didnt know disconnecting the battery would lock the car...re-connecting the battery dosnt re-open the doors

    Any options?

    cheers

gees no replies...I hope im not the first?? all ended well anyway, lucky for some reason I left the key on the seat so i bent a nice coat hanger to shape and went fishing through opening the top of the door. Hooked it on and pulled it out within 15 minutes..god it felt good when i had my hands on the key again

...so never leave your key in the Ibiza while changing a battery

On another note, I changed the coolant on it today & was surprised to find no bleed valves in the usual places (top of the heater hose, top of the radiator..) and no top radiator cap. Without proper bleed screws im struggling to get it all working like it was...the radiator fans switch on late (first time i cranked her over they didnt even switch on) and its running hotter than it did before. what gives?

Overfill the expansion bottle, and go for a drive. Let the car sit overnight, and re-check the coolant level.
